The model looks great but I'm really not feeling the shinyness you have at the moment, it's very matte (as I understand they are like that in real life when in museums) Maybe try with a little darker roughness, just to bring out the paint a little more.
Remember that reproduction of the Titanic in Cryengine 3? They've set up crowdfunding to finish it. http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/titanic-honor-and-glory-phase-2 A worthy cause IMO, some stellar work being done there, and it would be a great resource for historians/museums etc. to have.
Dioramas can be full-size too -- think about museum exhibits that show random stuff in giant glass cases. Those are another type of diorama. (Hence, I assume, the large size for the maximum on the vehicle. Otherwise that would be an absurdly large shoebox.)
indeed maybe they could have spent the money they spent travelling to a nearby area to smash shit up on a bus fare to one of the absolutely world-class, mindblowing museums, galleries and libraries in the capital provided entirely for free for their own fucking benefit wankers
A nice low poly outhouse. It will be appearing in the game "Northern Bend" for the Grand rapids Public Museum and be out this November :) (no worries, I am allowed to show the model.) This was done with 3d Max 2012 and Photoshop.
acapulco> Thks! That's just for fun. I went to an expo last day in "Orsay" Museum. There were a corner about old records sleeves design. May be I got influenced by the things I saw there.
I have one man but sadly I won't sell it. Design books are extremely rare because the good ones are always in limited print. Sid Mead's are museum items. If 250 seems a bit too steep I have bad news for you.
They go find people who are experts in the field, typically at the museum or university level. This is from Hellblade where they are talking to someone who studies Viking mythology, http://www.hellblade.com/development-diary-26-myths-madness/
Probably not that many who will have the chance but if u live here or is just passing by make sure to go to the national museum and catch the exhibition on the dutch golden age http://www.nationalmuseum.se/NMTemplates/NMSingleExhibition____3769.aspx just a tip! edit: stockholm would be the capital of Sweden :P
Glad you had a good time. I couldn't think of a single thing to do in Wyoming except Buffalo Bill's Museum, but that's in Cody, and not really worth the trip IMO. Awesome views around Jackson Hole, though-- nice pics. Atticus is n awesome cat :)
