Hmm, maybe it uses the global snap preferences found in Window -> Settings/Preferences -> Preferences, then look in the "Snapping" section on the left. It has global magnet and tolerance settings in there, maybe it uses those. Sorry about the misinformation before, I don't have Maya open so I'm just going from memory :)
I have no specific knowledge of germany's history, but afaik they, like most nations, made a lot of small steps to resemble the 'neo socialism european democracy' (for lack of a better descriptor, im sure there is one but forgive my lack of knowledge on the subject) before they overhauled their healthcare. Ben, I…
Absolutely not true. On both accounts. First the owners and the employees are the same. Secondly, I give you Mondragon started in.. 1956. Who expanded significantly. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mondragon_Corporation (Sorry OT, I just hate the misinformation that is spread about co-ops.
Both. A lot of the people saying "Metallic" in that thread seem to be kinda misinformed, too. I've been warming to metalness recently, but I'm still not sure limiting everyone is the way to go.
There may not be football because: A. The NFL opted out of the current CBA(collective bargaining agreement) B. They couldn't get a new deal worked out before the deadline, so the NFLPA(Player's association) decertified, and is suing the NFL for anti-trust or whatever - this is just a ploy to get better leverage when…
It's funny after reading this thread, I actually had interpreted the thread title and OP in a different way, and because of this I will cater my answer toward the way I read it. I would say my "success" (if it can even be called that..? What defines success?) would be 60% hard ass work and 40% networking. Not to say that I…

It's not something we do to ourselves, and it doesn't go away by trying to ignore it. It can lead to thinking/caring too much, it is not the result of thinking/caring too much.…
I'm getting warnings popping up saying that Chrome is using an unexpectedly large amount of RAM just from looking at this page. Some files have just timed out and won't load. You've got 3 props, 2 of which are tiny; use smaller images in general, and group props if they're not important or large enough to need a sheet on…
I'm having no problem with the battery so far, but I guess thats cause I am keeping it in 2D the whole time. The design wouldnt have to change at all, apart from the screens extending to meet in the middle. If anything, it would be closer to the original DS-Lite because the screens would be the same size. You say 'never' a…
If you bake out an AO map correctly (normalized) it will be mostly white with darker (black) shadows. To use this texture you simply multiply it on top of the other textures. It works the same for in Photoshop and UDK, just set the layer to multiply or use a multiply node. With a working AO-map you should not need to…
