A little bit of progress for the medieval scene. I have added in some signage and lanterns. I especially enjoyed creating the 'Picklebury' font for the sign. For the lanterns I added in a gentle sway using sine with world position offset. The tree branches also have simple grass wind applied to them along with the cloth…
Uhh.. * Your own unique “self made” versions of your items which indicate that you are the original author * Your themed items released for Team-Fortress 2 in an exclusive Polycount Pack update to the game * Team Fortress 2 poster signed by the team * A variety of random Team Fortress 2 and/or Valve Software swag
That really blows. I hope they didn't lose any data for my Rune sequel. I'm sure they must have had some offsite backups , and insured equipment etc. , but think of all that sweet flammable cube swag gone to waste. -I like how the second link credits them as being a "web design firm".
Heres a thought. A high percentage of PC members work in studios, why dont a few send some swag they have floating around the office to Adam for runner up prizes? Could be an idea. I would love to see valve be the main sponsor though, they have a lot of sexy stuff in their online shop!
Great idea. Rather then giving the winner a stamp to display on their portfolio, I'd rather see a small stamp added above or below the winners avatar. Something akin to the way conceptart.org gives icons to the winners of Creature of the Week. I think it would encourage more people to participate, aside from the Tokyo…

Favorite swag was the all you can drink party card from valve ;) . Even though we didn't make many connections at companies it was still a blast hanging out with you guys in Austin. Lookin' forward to unearthly so I'll have something to show in San Fran. Big shout out to valve and Red Five for putting up with us noobs!
Although I've mostly modded Xboxs for my business, I have done a couple PS2s. I'm not all that qualified to be honest with PS2 mods compared to Xbox, but here's what I know. If you have the slim PS2, you will need a chip or possible a swap disk. The only real softmod that I ever used for PS2 was attaching a hard drive, and…
Hi! You could bake some straightened straps down, basically adding some reusable strap parts to the texture atlas, you can then map the lowpoly UVs to. Certainly an option to save texture space if you have many straps. If you array and deform your straps along curves, makes it easy to swap out the base mesh.
I made this stun grenade in a few hours to quickly demonstrate substance painter and marmoset for a presentation to a small class in my area. I'm also currently learning to model in modo and still working out the kinks. I hope that my modeling capabilities will improve in the near future and hope that you guys all stay…
