So I saved a weapon in Maya LT with a Tri count of 268, when importing into dota, it complains that the count is 560, exceeding the accepted limit, any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Some previous work. I'm not content with the texture detail. I was and still am fairly new to texturing so finding the key details was challenging. Totals 56k triangles.

Working on this weapon. Polcount: 560 tris. And using a 512*512 texture (still working on it) ... and this is the character that will use it: The character is 2500 tris. Thanks to ImageShack for Free Image Hosting
