Because I am not busy enough, I am doing a little bit of freelance for a friend - building a 1930's steamliner! A new challenge for me - luckily it is going to be reasonably stylized!
Thanks for posting that image, it is very educational and helpful to cg artists everywhere. I didn't realize you could get negative in Jeopardy. Question, does Tyrone owe Jeopardy $1600?
Hey everyone, I made a quick Grow/Shrink Mask node if anyone is interested, you can download it here http://forum.allegorithmic.com/index.php/topic,3630.msg16820.html#msg16820
We were there a few years ago and wanted to see Hitlers bunker but it was "closed indefinitely", it looked like an empty lot. Apparently the Germans don't want to remember 1930-45. *shrug*
Design based on a Wiley Post Pressure Suit used in high altitude flights in the 1930s. My goal was to create a low poly character, roughly around 60k tris Artsation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Rng4YX
i figured why not make one. any way here is a necromancer i made for the TGC forums this scene is 9000 poly's but after the comp i redid some parts and dropped the poly counts down and got it to a total of 1600.
i was looking at that link and found this great monitor http://tweaknews.pricegrabber.com/search_techspecs_full.php/masterid=16158388 what do you guys think? 1600*1200 sounds rather good dont you think?
I'm not sure I'd call Crimson Skies steampunk. That was all feasible 1930s-1940s technology, just alternate history that led to different tech emphasis. Maybe avgas-punk...? Not sure with that one.
