That, is a nice ass rock. Would love a little breakdown of how you went about that, even if it's just a little text discussion :) Are you using a z-depth shader for the moss?
Yes i will look at that. I guess those brushes you mention are z brush brushes, but im using mudbox. Thank you for the critique and kind words, I appreciate it :)

I paint mostly in PS, but that's only because I'm a lazy fuck and haven't tried to learn any 3D painting tool, although I had fun with Z's polypainting
Great project, love the atmosphere. The only thing I would say from the video is the Z-fighting from 1.40 is abit distracting. Other than that, awesome stuff :D
There's also the xNormal plugins for Photoshop, and the older Nvidia tools. Both convert heightmaps to normal maps (black: low areas; 127 grey: no Z change; white: high areas).
I once had a shirt that showed the aftermath of a car crash and underneath said "Ctrl-Z". Very few people got it, but it gave me a chuckle when people got it :]
the last character was kind of based of Goku and Dragonball Z. This is based more off of Hyper Light Drifter. wireframe some alternate suits and colors
