ya i will have to work around that wanted to making a spawn in effect that has several animating emmsive maps projected onto the floor and it looks kinda shit with no light or bloom coming off it, so maybe animating a dynamic light with it may work.
Nah, just have a mandatory 2 hours of entirely unskippable introductory content. I always thought the G.O.A.T test in fallout 3 was a bit short; they can correct that with fallout 4! Either that or it could spawn a new genre of the featurelength cutscene :P
Yer killin it Lynch! I'd like to see something other than bricks or tiles now pls. Some kind of more complex texture that incorporates more material types with wear and environmental stuff (stains, water, etc) and such that integrate across the piece.
Color me surprised! Or not. This was on the fast... erm... slowtrack to being either cancelled or released late and unpolished. But thank you for the sweet tech demos and may it spawn something new and awesome. I'll keep my eyes open for new medieval fantasy eyecandy.
at last i finished this guy over the weekend - a prime example of a character spawned out of nothing more than a stupid haircut. :) could make for an interesting timelapse animation. perhaps someday i should try working with one of these things they call a 'concept'...
it's bad enough i deal with copy and paste anime/COOLTHINGS(neo darthmaul little sister)/nintendo model no talent whiny furry idiots that were born, spawned when I was watching Tiny Toons Adventures, Ren & Stimpy and Hammerman. Creepy
Looks awesome man. Only thing I could suggest, is to add some gun metal stains and tarnish, to both the diffuse and spec. Even looking at that wikipedia image, you can see that it's got some green, red, brown and blue in the metal.
Baddcog : ty , yeah i tried to make it a bit more wavy Xajai , I think you should consider baking some light from where the particles spawn . maybe add a chain to tie the bottom part with the top . finished the ward:) link : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=284192215
Is it for movies? or games ? If is for movies then with a particle generator you cand do it. Model a mesh and spawn 3d coins particles on that mesh where you want. if is for games then i think you should do it with a tiling texture and with some coins models here and there for exemple on the stairs you can add some 3d…
I was just testing this out and I quickly saw where the issue is. Also issue happens when primary particles have orbit module and Emitter initLoc doesn't know how to take orbit into account when spawning secondary particles. Again thanks for help, I'll avoid using ribbon to do this
