@Necrodark So after a lot of experimenting and test bakes, this is what I came up with. It's probably not the best way to do things, but it's the best I could come up with from my very limited experience lighting in Unreal. . . First off this guy has a great volumetric fog presentation if you haven't seen it…
Oh please, chill. You don't seem to understand what i am saying, what you see here is orthographic, the lack of distortion. Your brain is used to that distortion and tells you stuff gets bigger the further it is away and this is one of the main principles of orthographic. Nothing gets smaller the further it is away.…
Hello. Here is my portfolio: https://www.artstation.com/alvordr. I have a mix of hard-surface and organic modeling background with a degree in Game Art & Design. I don't see any of your criteria being an obstacle. I would be happy to discuss this with you, if interested.
Hello all! I want to create a camera in 3ds max that can`t see perspective. I know I can turn an ordinary camera to an orthographic but I could n`t get the result I wanted. Please see the attach file. I want to create a camera that see all the green lines of cube exactly vertical or horizontal and red lines should be…
Take a hard look at your portfolio and say to yourself is this good enough for an entry-level position at company X? If not then post your work on forums and ask for advise on areas where you could improve, after that go back to the drawing board and get cracking on your portfolio! Concentrate on your weaknesses and push…

If I recall correctly (mostly from the DoW cinematic by Blur and in-game unit) the individual clamps on the…
Yep. Unfortunately the curves even when set to Euler are still Quaternion they just interpret what you see and use in the workbench (which looks Euler), into Quaternion values. A bit of a hack fix but its a lot better than being stuck with TCB. Ahh good, the tension thing was one of the biggest headaches for me too. As for…
You can see this workflow as frustrating or one that gives you ultimate flexibility. 3D app, zB and SP are a terrific combination. I'm no expert, but will put some general stuff that may help. Feel free to ask questions and I will do my best to answer them. If you are using zB at all fist thing is to setup GoZ tween it and…
It is tricky to let some of that go you're right :P I have tried box modelling to get the basic proportions but when it comes to the head and legs I prefer to do them as seperate geomentry and then connect them. Poly-by-poly is the way I prefer to work, but as I said I find it tricky to pick a part of the model to start…
