fragfest2012: Thank you kindly. Yes it's bothering me all the time - what is today next-gen? I mean 512x512 or 1024x1024 for this kind of four-pieces asset? Not sure...
Eeeek, cant stand that ammount of Chromatic Abboration. Also that lense effect seem to be the new staple of current gen. I think it takes away to much focus from the scene.
I find the resolution a bit low (WTF is with that with current-gen handhelds >:( ), and the buttons a bit mushy, but Uncharted was fun. Its also lighter than I would have imagined.
Playstation3, It's about time I get one of the current-gen consoles. Just took a look at those listed on his site, very spendy ($40 for a ball bounce tutorial?)
Zbrush transpose to give this a more relaxed pose + sculpting muscle detail, this would look really good :) It looks pretty good so far, but wont suffice for next gen.
Yes also, but that has nothing to do with what you said before. Making your own triangles was already needed before people used baked textures. (next-gen)
If wacom is keeping its record of defective products (usb coming lose in intuos 4, and apparently power block issues in cintiq24hd), that may not be that bad of a deal getting the older gen...
So with an engine like UDK are people generally making gloss maps for there shaders? Or is it more common with next-gen consol games to just plug in a constant into the specular power input?
