good, students that want to quit "their dream" because of a single thread on the internet should go and find something else to do. Do I know you IRL MrPositive? You sound familiar. 3 at splash at the moment...I think ninja theory has 4-5?
Arrgh, I've been working with bilinear texture filtering this entire time! Well here's my traveler's pretty much finished texture, with no filtering or aliasing. It's been suggested that his iris and pupil should just be solid blue and solid black...thoughts? Also, gloves: yes/no?
I have about 3% of my weekly paycheck going into Media and Telecommunications and Emerging European and Mediterranean Funds. This is an IRA of course, but it's been doing pretty well. Really comes in handy when I need to make a big emergency purchase (although they tax the shit out of it).
Just finished the SP campaign... man that was awesome. Tried out the Deniable Ops solo and man that's fun, actually want to try it at a harder difficulty than normal. I'm kinda irked with Ubisoft's Uplay system, as it keeps disconnecting before I can unlock the "Infiltration" mode.
Better watch out! " A response will be sent only if there is a suitable position available. All materials sent to Next Level Games become property of Next Level Games Inc. We appreciate your interest." Might want to hold onto the scene file. Looks dandy to me.
So let me just quote this post if u missed it. I say dont sell yourself short. This has potential, you just need to start mkaing stuff like they actually appear IRL and not straight from imagination. reference, reference, reference. keep it up
Mayterials Day 11 - Electrical: For today's material I was inspired to attempt Iron Man's Arc Reactor. I ended up going a little bit outside of my comfort zone and leaned more toward realism than usual but I think it turned out okay.
This is what I was thinking possibly happens. iirc it reduces squares of 16px down to something like 3 colors. I did this test image over a decade ago., blown up so you can see the pixels better But I wonder what happens in practice.
IIRC Modo is being heralded as one of the best workflows for pure modeling, but is lacking in what makes 3ds Max and Maya the well-rounded software packages of choice (something to do with baking and such?). For Dota 2 you'll definitely be using Zbrush or the less popular sculpting software, Mudbox.
Looks great! Only crit I have is the characters have a surprised expression as their default pose. The bottom of the upper eyelid is above the iris and the eyebrows are raised most of the time. A more relaxed expression would be more appropriate. Great work though, it's looking like a winner already.
