There are somethings you could nit pick about the textures, but lighting is the most important thing in any scene. Getting the mood, atmosphere, and values of the lighting looking good will help with everything else. If you do that, I think it will be easier for you to see what you don't like about the textures. -

Tint the glass slightly in an orangish color, and setup up some mesh/net like parts around the lower parts of the glass so that people walking on that floor don't get blinded by the rays. Also, tone down the amount of God-Rays, they're taking away alot from the scene. -

You can find materials in other media. Watch Space Odyssey, The Moon, Avatar - basically any big-budget acclaimed sci-fi movie and read the production materials on them, they're available on the net. I don't know if there are tutorials on that, but you can learn from observing the masters. -

Please tell me that hands were done better in this one...they drove me nuts every time I saw them in dialog, cinematics, etc...that being said, I am super stoked for this game and I think it will take an interesting direction while playing a character with an established background. -

Maybe I'm nit picking, but what is the reason for those rods? Throwing on greeble for the sake of greeble just confuses the eye. It's a door and it does one thing, divide one space from another. Every other element should work to sell the idea that it's a door. Keep it simple, keep it functional. -

All right. I was able to finish up my first pass at the robot tonight. I went through several variation of legs. And the under body is not done yet. I plan a bit more robotic do dads and what nots. Starting off with a simple hi poly in Max. -

customers expressing opinions on how to make a product more appealing to them isn't such a bad idea. Blizzard is making a product to sell, to make money - they're not just doing this for some higher calling that shouldn't ever be questioned. now stop expressing your opinion on the net. you hate that! :D ! -

I just got an intuous 3 a while back, but I Still love my graphire 2 Had that for about 6 years If I had n't used it as a dinner tray/coaster I would still be using it ( its a bit warped) Intuos 3 is pretty cool though -

I'm with Sett... What's the difference between what they're doing and any other torture people pay for animals to go through? If you really care for animals you'll stop paying for factory farming, trawl fishing and drift nets, puppy farming, animal testing, fur and leather, etc.
