Hi there, here are some feedback on the portfolio :) Gear of war inspired tower barricade:Looks good to me, nice texture, shapes, and detail. Definitely my favorite piece in the portfolio. If I was looking at these models I'd really like it if there were some examples of wires and materials to get a better sense of your…
Here is an update on the snowmobile. I have done a low-poly pass and reached my tri-count goal of somewhere between 70k - 100k tris and have also unwrapped the snowmobile into 4 different texture sets. Below you can see the current lowpoly mesh. Here you can see how I've separated the different meshes. Here you can see the…

For us by far the most expensive things are the character drawcalls since they are not batched but use a classic hierachy with attachments on all pieces. 200-300 is far from healthy and it definitely limits our unitcount severely. Its "good enough to work" for us, for like 5-20 on screen but not scalable with around…
That’s exciting, lots of options for research and development in real-time rendering. So many in fact that it may be difficult to recommend anything specific except what my own biases would suggest ;) I’m really intrigued by augmented reality, since we use it at my work, and there’s a lot of hardware development happening…

I am aware that my Portfolio is rather small and doesn't scream "Hey, I want to become an Environment Artist" at the moment - just curious…
And that ought to be the motivation in itself. To be honest, not a lot that AI creates is usuable as is. And there are lots of limitations in its use for larger companies. For example a company in Canada that runs on government subsidies would do well to maintain its workforce. Liquidating its workforce in favor of AI…
