IIRC, csSlide is now replaced by the Constraints options (Edge). Orionflame 3's Chamfer has a "Connect" option that recreates the original edge between the new chamfered edges, similar to the old Chamfer Solid. Alas OF3 is not free... but OF2 still is, and it might have that tool.
TinEye says it's from NS2, as Habboi guessed. http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/news/2007/04/were_going_to_need_bigger_guns_1 (at the bottom) IIRC the NS2 guys are cool with people scenes in 3D from their concepts, so long as it's portfolio stuff. Wouldn't hurt to get in touch just in case.
yowza, why'd the US fund the IRA? I don't doubt our government did but it doesn't seem to make sense. Seems like all the US funded terrorism in the past was part of the cold war, supplying arms and training to terrorist groups to fight Russia or their allies.
Yeah, in my experience it's not about strict legality, more about wanting to stay employed and promotable, and avoid being black-listed by other companies. It's a small world, word gets around surprisingly fast. But the work for hire thing has been enforced in court, IIRC.
I enjoyed COD2 over COD1... the added 'realism' in the way the damage was delt slowed the game down and it felt more real. Close range combat, IRL, with SMG's and the like would almost mean certain death. Just don't get in close-range combat
This is coming along nicely! Nice job. One thing that stands out to me is the bumps on the yellow non-slip sections on the sidewalk. The bumps look much larger and taller than similar ones I've seen IRL: Nice job otherwise though, keep going :)
Hey everyone, my apologies for the crappy photo quality, (they're not nearly this noisy IRL) but here are the cards in their printed final states. Thanks for all your kind words! Hopefully this bodes for a good GDC. I could really use with it right about now. Haha!
I watched it the other day. Never really looked into his 'story' before having only watched f1 for a couple of years. Very powerful stuff and now i understand why he is such a household name in the sport. @Ace a bit over 1:30 iirc
if you want to get a start on characters, im old school and started out with the Joan of Arc tutorial, and also the Swordmaster tutorial. now i believe they used 3DS Max on it but you can transfer those techniques to any 3d package with practice. good luck!
Hello Ikhaled0n, You already started with the poses thats good :) but right now it feels that you only have 2 keys in each part, wich results in a very robotic movement. Try to add arcs into the motions and get reference if you don't have one :)
