Slow progress on this lady as of late due to the fact that I welcomed my son into this world on Friday. His name is Soloman and he sleeps all day all the while filling his swaddler with poo. good times. Now back to BIZNIZZ, i roughed out a decent basemesh of sorts to start for the body. After looking at the ingame models…
thanks for the feedback guys!!! ill try to emphasize the features a lill bit, for my part i think his legs might look just i bit too muscular for a febble old dude
ok forget it i found the solution aparently the fbx exporter on maya 2011 it too old and didnt work well with the dota 2 importer so now that i used a new version it fixed it
Personally I'd be more interested in a solution that involved making the trim geometry too, if you just want to create the uv's there are old scripts for uv mapping roads that do the job well enough for me.
thanks for comments. I referenced my old WH40K models and most of modeling is from miniatures from early 90´s. I agree legs are too rounded blobs and need better modeling.
yeah, I was too concern about working with limited resources and forgot the main point is making the environment looks great. It 2 x 1024 and 1 x 512, kinda old school game.
Thanks adam, I made like 4 stupid ones today, I tried to give old green tooth a mustache, but it wasn't working out too well. Kinda stole perna's idea.
Please please please make a lilo and stitch and animate this too <3 Awesome, even inspiring work, makes me want to go take a look at all of my old favorites :) great work!
I think that this looks better than the last update. Your old highlights had too much contrast for so dark a metal and these toned down ones look much better. Keep it up!
Here's a bow for a Drow set we are making. The bow is a remake of an old bow that never got accepted. The jaw will open when shooting. I'll probably need to scale the head down a bit too, or?
