i would start this with backburner... that everything is done automaticaly for you... just start the manager on one computer and on both the server... and in the render menue click on NET... or use Dr to render with both computer on the same image... you just have to set the ip adress...
I'm getting little pink pixels throughout my normal map. I could buff them all out, but it is pretty annoying. I am looking around now to see what is causing it as I have never had this problem; to the GOOGLE-nets!
Yeah the face looks a little strange at the moment. The perspective seems slightly off (could just be the light though). It does look very nice so far though, besides those few nit picks. What resolution did you start with by the way?
Nice model, the hammer part though with the way you have sculpted in the damage comes off more like stone than metal. I'm nut sure if that was the look you were going for. Also the rune seems very clean compared to the rest of the model.
It's pretty hard to find any place on the net that has a friendly community like Polycount does. Especially in Photography. Personally, I browse dpreview.com a lot, luminouslandscape, and follow a bunch of blogs that, while they don't have a forum community, offer a LOT of amazing info.
Ok so after a couple of hours breaking my head and searching in the net (with no succes) I switched my graphic card from Intel integrated to Ati and the tool worked!!! I can't explain why or how but it did so up to work now :)
That's quite cheap, Apple, Asus and Dell ultrabooks all sell for a grand. Hows the heat on it? TelekineticFrog, you even have ZBrush on your air? You nuts? :D How hot does it get? What kind of polycounts can you get up to?
Very, very nice Ben. Only nit-picky thing that stands out for me is the AO seems a bit much where the grip meets the metal. Were any booleans harmed in the making of this weapon? ;) Great result. Texture detailing of the metal is particularly good.
hmm its a ton indeed :D thx the wirefram grabbed to my inspiration folder... yeah i saw that, pf... he went nuts ..lots of to study. awesome details X.x I have to dig to this heigh map mixing normal map process
I know this is a critique thread, and I try my hardest not to jock peoples nuts that much, but dude- the work you did on bully was some ace shit. Oh and the bear looks good too :P - are you working from any particular concept?
