There are some free scripts around that will replace meshes automatically for you. You could also use the Merge command, there's an option to replace existing meshes with the same names, iirc.
I am still having a hard time believing my eyes sometimes ... Thinking that a mere PS3 can output this kind of graphics on such a scale is nothing short of mindblowing !!
So you can have fragments that are linked to a master template, not merely duplicating the tree into a new, separated one? Nifty! OK now you're just showing off. ;)
Just because it has no floating point :) . If he wants to merge those meshes before he exports into a game engine theres no need to use angles with a power of 2.
Oh I figured you just missed that post, why not post in that thread then as it seems to be exactly what you're interested in? I can merge the threads if you like.
#6. You should merge the center vertices and create a center line(edge). Export the model into your 3d package and fix it there or try doing a mirror and weld in Zbrush.
Thanks for the comments chaps. Much appreciated. The mantle merges into the skull at it's base and sits over the 'brain mass' as a sort of natural armoured shield. I'll watch that area for sure.
