Im fairly certain Viewport 2.0 had terrible support for 2011. 2012 had better support and with every release its been getting better and better. -

What year did you take the in person class at FuturePoly? I took mine in early January of 2012 with Joe Pikop's class. Learned a lot on that class. -

What's your UDK version? It's working fine for me in DX9 with 2012 july beta. Got several versions installed though and could do some testing. -
