Great video, cheers! I indirectly worked with Matt and Newtek when LWF was first implemented in Lightwave, so probably explains our similar thoughts on this. Except he explains it far better! I should probably clarify, what I think is happening in your original post is that it seems like you've taken an already gamma…
I'll probably end up repeating a lot of things already said but I'll give me 2 cent. First thing I notice is the header, like what shlim the polycount banner is a good reference. The colour pallet is a bit garish, try something a bit more subtle. Dont create too many clicks for people to get to your work. As soon as they…
ok, i actually have another quick question about this tutorial if someone could help me out again? soo, i'm on this page, in the part where you create the wings http://www.techtut.com/Tutorial/3D-studio-max/69-How-to-create-airplane-model/4-Create-airplane-model-part-4.html basically i got my line to look perfect, as in…
Hey there Baj, I had a play with the image using liquify and adjusted it a bit. The first of the three images is my liquify adjustment and the other two are two different renders provided by you. I think what is happening with the second image of the three is you are adding weight to the hips to try and make her look more…
Your site loaded up with nothing on the main page. I had to click 3d at the top right to see anything. Get everything on that first loaded page. I dont like how your images load either. It loads but the image is small, you cant zoom in, and then you have to click that TINY arrow for it to scroll to the right. Then, after a…
Looks like a good start. Big kudos for doing the rough composition before you start your assets. That's good workflow for sure! :) I would throw some quick lighting in there to see where your shadows will fall. The reference image is overcast but you'll probably want a stronger directional light in your scene. The…
So you're trying to match a camera to a image? Camera Match in max is your best option but it only works on uncropped images and will never work with hand drawn concept art. You can look it up in the help file and it has some detailed info along with how to use it. I'm sure google has more info on it too.…
I saw these first GUI images on gamer.nl http://www.xboxarena.nl/images/screenshots/xbox2mainscreen_01.jpg http://www.xboxarena.nl/images/screenshots/xbox2mainscreen_02.jpg http://www.xboxarena.nl/images/screenshots/xbox2mainscreen_03.jpg http://www.xboxarena.nl/images/screenshots/xbox2mainscreen_04.jpg They had also…
For those who need a free reference image software, Fast Stone Max View http://www.faststone.org/FSMaxViewDetail.htm do the job very well. It's a powerful image viewer, a lot of functions for free. Take a look o look on Fast Stone Image Viewer too: http://www.faststone.org/FSViewerDetail.htm It's an excellent image…
To get images to work, you need to get the full URL which usually ends in .JPG then click on the "Attach Image/File" button and paste the URL there. I don't think Google Drive will work for embedding images on forums. At least I couldn't figure out how to get a plain image URL out of it.
