Passerby: As I mentioned a few posts up, Blender right now has no support for smoothing groups that I know of. You can achieve the same thing by actually splitting edges, but ofcourse that hampers your workflow.
[ QUOTE ] personally, i think more 3-dimensional marshland or rainforest themes would be interesting, where you have to stay above the ground, instead of on it, where dense vegetation would seriously hamper movement. [/ QUOTE ] Good idea.
truck is like part hummer, part jeep, part something gun on top looks small and sort of oddly-placed that piece has most potential imo but least finished. guitar looks awesome, reminds me of Mops
I noticed that too in the video and have been yammering on about it in a weird way to anyone here who will listen (or not, that doesn't stop me). Great little touch. Really excited about this game now, big props to Massive (excuse the pun).
I'll be at the GGJ in Melbourne - fourth year running If anyone's in Melbourne and still unsure, I think there are still tickets and even some paid-for supported tickets for those who can't pay for themselves. We've got something like 150 jammers this year!
Yeah that's worrying a lot of Foundry users at this point. It certainly puts a hamper on the current appeal in getting a license or upgrading until we know who takes over. Wishing Luxology stated independent at this point, but lets wait and see what happens first.
It would be really handy. I know that Second Life is seriously dated when it comes to graphics. That said, there are lots of us out here creating for that environment and we are really hampered by the limitations of the system. This may not always be true but right now, its a major pITA.
My newest high poly project. The Warthog from halo is cool but I wanted something that could seat more and looked more badass. I also wanted to try to combine the H1 hummer with a Lamborghini Reventon, Dodge Truck, and of course the Warthog. What do you guys think?
[ QUOTE ] your lack of knowledge about this game would let me easily thrash you. no-one alive can beat me at this game. And I only play as edgemaster. [/ QUOTE ] pfft, sc is a jammer's game. Real men take it out on sf2ce or vsav.
Lol, you can do it man! Look up what Adam did in his Evil genius environment. His rock formations look really good and can be make in a rather short period of time. On top of which, they shouldn't hamper your light shafts.
