Still working on the Public Bathroom model, today I bring you the High Poly version and now is Time to refine the Low version and UV it. I did not add all the details from the Real Model reference, the idea is add them later with PixaFlux after the texture projection with xNormal. Best wishes. - Aender Lara…
How can I add to count small normal map details if I create textures from curvature map on high poly model? Lets say I have created textures in dDO and then I painted small normal maps details (bolts, texts, etc). What should I do to add these new normal map details to the curvature map?
I would also say: add breakdowns, wireframes and texture sheets. This will help recruiters to get a better view of your skills and workflows. Also if you work on a project (like The Surge), it's also gppd tp post the props/characters you did for the project. Otherwise the recruiter didn't know which part of the project you…
did you arrange them into a tiling pattern inside zbrush?? I did that recently inside max but I would never dare do it inside zbrush. Really nice texture, you might want to add a little bit of grittyness to the bricks with crazybump or a filter or 3dcoat? it just seems to look a bit soft after the bake maybe it was the…
Hello, I’ve been practicing
modeling for 4 months now so excuse me if I am asking evident things here. I
know this is a subject that has been asked many times in different sites and
forums but I would like to get a clear understanding of the whole process of creating
game environment scene. My goal is to create a portfolio…
If my life doesn't get flipped upside down in the next few days i'll give it a shot atm, irl is getting in the way of everything. I'll post somewhere if i end up doing it and let you know. Otherwise your unreal renders are pretty nice and works well enough if you wanted the sun rays and such. (wild guess did you bake in…
Yeah. i knew i did something off. I had it where i just gave it a material with a checker texture for it base color. But did not attach it to the uv or so. So here is how it looks when i fixed it up with attach. But yeah didn't have it project by UV. THank you for poiinting that out.
Worked on the texture with dDo (first time I work with dDo): I also did a quick block out of two additional buildings: UCS Civil Production Facility (which contains the Energy Transmitter) UCS Supply Depot: As this is planed to be importet to the Galaxy Editor to server in an RTS I don't strive towards ultra high details…
Yeah, 8k workflow in DDO is not fun. first off you'll be running about 23GB of ram, it will take about 15 minutes to save your work files and it will take about 10 - 20 minutes to compute when you make changes. If you can even manage to get DDO to actually run without any errors or crashing before you add any maps.
Some updates from this week.. I did pass on the front and back door textures. I started to add some detailing to the walls since they seemed kinda bare but it still needs some refining. I also did a pass the spike structures. Next step is more refinement on the walls and then doing another pass on the rocks (textures and…
