yeah use a cage, however looking at your bakes, there are either no uvsplits or you need to make more space between your UV islands because right now it looks just as if the edges are merged.
I am having the same issues, but none of the solutions listed seem to assist in merging the elements via dynamesh, remesh by union nor liveboolean of 2 subtools. Dynameshing gives me the above issues.
no more sub-forums please! That's why some forums are a fractured mess. If you want it like the old days just merge Tech Talk & GD, personally I think things are fine the way they are.
Katana. Complex models can get a bit tricky. Things get in the way you dont see etc etc. Maybe you could try to seperate the hands from the rest and merge later?
The cat is so adorable!!!! I think If you could dynamesh and merge those tail/fur blobs into the mesh, it'll transition really well. Aside from that, you really captured the concept art!
That could work too. But you'd be re-merging a lot of stuff over time. I like Pior's idea because it would be real-time without user interaction needed, and totally non-destructive.
Thats the crap I coudl do , how can I do to make a better merging passaging from the fur to the skin? I just used the zbrush lightbox tool .., and two source pictures .
I like the plague doctor. Are you planning on taking it further? Could be cool merging the new tech with the old plague doctor style. Maybe some sort of high tech plague doctor hat.
foro retopo you don't need all details, you don't retopo pores, you create animatable topology, so just merge or import your level 2 or 3 meshes for retopo.
Could see this /maybe/ working for a hard surface piece but the generated topo is pretty much garbage. Did you at any point say that the model is Marc Brunets? (I didn't have speakers plugged in).
