Large volumes of densely packed flesh would be particularly good at absorbing that kind of fire power. IIRC, it's more sheer numbers and attrition that wear the military down in the book; you can do all the damage you like, your ammunition is going to be limited.
iirc, Rameses II was another name for Ozymandias, maybe his official title or something. It's all about the mythology of his character, big into all those ancient empires. As for being readily viewable, I don't think that was in the comic, but I can't rememeber really.
I think the upper lip is way too flat, personally. I may be wrong, but it strikes me as a stylized feature, and incredibly out of place with the otherwise smooth/realistic features. There's still some arc out even on people with really thin/flat lips.
pior: nope, i wish it was possible. other apps have been allowing this for years (iirc even Maya does it - you can select on the smooth preview mesh although it will display the manipulator at the "real" vert position of course), max is just lagging behind there...
Thanks guys, I just found another problem but with 3dsmax. When I rotate with the arc rotate tool I get boxes instead of my model. 2 years in max (on and off) and I cant even remeber how to reset the UI. :P
"Yeah, actually i want to continue with 3dsmax. But i cant find enough tutorial for character, car or any game asset modelling." Look harder, there is about 20 years of such content out there. Start with this one : https://3dtotal.com/tutorials/box-sets/joan-of-arc
I.c. 3080 not 3090 ... oppsie, i made a dumb. 20gb? linus has a 24gb so if you want more afaik if he has it, its out? https://youtu.be/JDUnSsx62j8?t=231 ^Starts talking about gb's immediately, if not 3:51
https://gumroad.com/l/rVWY -This is the only one that comes to mind, I know there are a few others that only do the uv>flat mesh thing but can't think of their names at the moment. I used to use mopKnit, but IIRC that doesn't work in newer maya versions?
Yeah i understand that Ambershee. I was just irked by an out of context image. Anyway, from all indications this film is going to be "The Dark Knight Returns". And the plot is going to be extremely predictable as a result. Not that i'm complaining, that's probably my favorite Batman graphic novel.
very cool. i like it a lot. i'd say the only bits that really irk me are the feet. theyre rather soft compared to the edged sharpness of the rest of the model. the bit on top feels almost soft to me. other than that though, good work.
