In the original image there are a mix of vertical and horizontal bricks, which the default generator doesn't seem to support.

It might not be including all of the lights in the build. I think it defaults to 4, including a directional light.

Yeah, the default SSAO does this. I got it fixed now by modding the DefaultPostProcess chain file.
