The only way this'll replace modellers is if all the characters run about naked in empty rooms. No studio is going to pay for tailors and prop makers so they can make scans which they then need to clean up. This just looks like a way of speeding up hyper real character creation. -

Jax has this really detailed head and a turban and everything and yet he's completely scrawny and naked from the neck down. Anyway, it's coming along great! For me I can't use Maya without Nex. I take it for granted most of the time and forget how naked Maya is without it, I don't regret it. But then again it might get bought and rolled into Maya 2011, since that's what Autodesk seems to really like doing and they did it with polyboost. -

waiting to be "inspired" its a flaw, its an illusion Artists do not just wait for that magical sensation to kick in. They just do it. Just like Nike says. Grab that pencil and just draw anything! Do some life drawing classes! Go to a church and study architecture! Travel! See the world! -

klein milk and pepsi was lavernes favorite drink on laverne and shirley.. used to make me almost puke every time she would mention it.. tho once i did try and brew a pot of coffee by running milk thru it instead of water.. theres reasons that you are not suposed to do that. -

Well the breast ARE part of the chest, at least they are tightly attached to it Maybe a bit more information on what your problem is exactly would help. It is just the shape of the mesh? If so, have a look at the approximatly 1 billion nude female models on CGtalk, some of them are even very well done -

No sweat, we had reservations for one of those "eat-sushi-on-naked-chicks"-joints with free booze, where we were gonna meet up with Ueda, Mizuguchi, Inaba and the rest of the boys, but hey, better luck next time eh! * * Blatant lies. But glad you had fun. -
Re: Spaceships
Did anyone ever watch Lexx? It wasn't the best of shows, but the main spaceship in that had a similar feel to it and the small ships were pretty much dragonfly's. Maybe make yours even more organic, films like Naked Lunch and eXistenZ are packed full of good examples organic machinery. -

Pior is da man! I'm so glad to have had him on the team, and we'll miss this crazy french guy, but not before we're having dinner with him tonite, getting him horribly drunk and leaving him naked with the 1000,-+ euro bill in his boxershorts. Anyway hire this guy!!!
