Hey, PixelSuit. I'm using Photoshop. I can model decent with Maya and I'm currently learning Zbrush. I was learning to make it from a tutorial. http://www.tutorial9.net/tutorials/photoshop-tutorials/create-fantastic-stone-textures-in-photoshop/ I will do a final attempt with it this week.
Thanks for all the sugestions ... how about now? I didn't yet tune the textures I removed the environment map tough and eft only parallax diffuse normal and subsurface ... I guess now is all about the tuning of the textures ? ... http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/389/shieldk.jpg
I am having fun with it. Deagle is pretty nuts so eco rounds going to get crazy! Definitely want to see some new maps, played dust 2 enough to make my eyes bleed. Maybe we will just have to make some new ones :)
sketchbook always!!! I use it for a ton of things not only work... must of have a stack of them 4ft high by now. Also, I am trying out the surface pro 2... windows 8 isn't my cup of tea, but it runs everything I need it to run so.
Not to be a nit picker, but that whole process of selecting edge loops could have been so much faster by just - drag select once horizontal loop - Drag de-select above and below to get rid of the vertical selection Literally 3 mouse clicks, and same thing for verticles.
This has totally became it's own thing! I still like the simple versions of classic village between multiple trees but this giant sponge-like tree roots is really nuts. Your inside shot is a lot better as far as conveying the right texture, glad I could help!
DRM is hampering sales, look at ubisoft i have not bought a game from them in years cause i refuse to have to be online while playing. its just stupid if the servers ever go down i cant play, or if i am on a plane or in a car with no net access
I like the small studies mostly more than your big pictures because they are a great mixture of hard and soft areas and transitions while the big and clean painted pictures are more just oft and too clean - in my eyes. They are great! But i love the bravery in the small ones.
Finished the pillar topper. The arms can be removed and moved around so you can go nuts with changing the look. Direct Link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/2hyzflqeq1g/PillarTop.obj Didn't get a chance to 'mess' this up. Zbrush restarts my pc everytime I open it haha
hair sculpt looks nice, big improvement all around. (no pun intended) I am curious as to the motivation for this subject, are you planing on designing this character for game? Not to get too nit picky, but I do feel the hands are too small and the forearm needs some more work.
