I think you're confusing what "looping" means. It just means that whatever is happening at the end leads to the beginning, in a way that you can't tell where the thing starts or ends. So you can make it loop with the particles fading out, moving, growing etc. That article I linked to has an example of the looping smoke… -

Woah. Thank you SO MUCH for your comment. I will definitely keep this message as a go-to for the following weeks. I am having a blast playing Rage, the shooting feels so good. I really wish I could have the shooting of Rage and the world of fallout. Maybe id will help Bethesda out with Fallout 4?
