Too many energy drinks = stomach ulcers. Look them up. If you want a tube down your throat and a needle INSIDE your stomach, and then for your stomach to never really heal fully again then yeah keep drinking them. I got it when I was in school and I was pulling the shit you described above. Nobody should make the same…
Usually I use ClayTube to build up muscles. Prefer it over Clay BuildUp. Standard and Inflate to balloon it up a tad more. So low ZIntensity here. And I use Orb_Crack to make a cut. I smooth the crap outta everything at the moment because I don't subdiv that much yet, can't really see the direction/strokes of…
I like the torso/arms although I do agree on the wrist being a bit to thick, I also think that maybe the hands are a bit to small and the finger to short ( they almost seem to have chibi proportions. As for the legs I agree with Snader, at the moment they feel a bit "tube"-like. I love the concept though, looking forward…
That's awesome as a beginning, you should now use a fine tool like one the Slash brushes (I think it's #2) to deepen the cracks, then Clay Tubes or Mallet or any other brush that works similarly to widen some of the cracks, carve in some of the chunks, sculpt on top of the chunks to put them on different heights and…
You could save a lot of polys by reducing the number of sides on that tube going along the bottom. Right now it looks incredibly wasteful compared to the rest of your geometry. And maybe it is something about the highlights on them, the normal maps, or the angles (or some combination of all three) but the ?blades? look…
Yes - go into brush --> auto masking --> back face masking This auto masks the polygons with normals facing away from your brush. That from memory so the actual menu its in night be wrong, but I don't think it is. Also you have to set this feature for each brush you use, so if you switch from clay tubes to clay buildup…
Yep, my 2GB 660ti is not gonna be playing this on ULTRA! :D Nice thump off that shotgun, and love the quick reload you get from popping a cartridge in the chamber :D sorry to see BF4 has noob-tubes though. Shit gets super real 12 minutes in, I think it looks great, but I'm thinking the reaction to this video is gonna be…
cool portfolio man, I really like the guy in the tube thinger, the materials look great, nice work on the glass. you have a nice variety of environments, the house and some scifi stuff which is good to have. the stairs scene is a little boring but it does look like an area you would travel through in a game. with a quality…
Nice photos! The handmade DOF kills them tho. Since it was not in the original picture why did you add it? :P I like the lomo effect you have on the corners but I think it's a bit too strong - the roadsign picture looks like it's been taken through a carbon tube somehow! Do I sound like an annoying dick? Excuse me if I do.…
I find that with a good rig and higher-poly models, #1 is superior. It allows and encourages much more believable muscle behaviour when deforming, instead of just "deforming" like a tube. Though if simply keeping general volume and ease of setup is the goal, then #2. I know this thread was dead, but the discussion on…
