Not really sure where to go from here. Felt like doing a really colorful picture based off the kids creature drawings I have and came up with this. I kind of feel like I want to tweak it some but I'm not sure what I want to do to it!
Nom nom work here. Especially Daven, Allan-p, fightpunch, ljabli - I keep being impressed by you guys page by page. I am right-handed, but currently can't do much with the right hand because of a minor injury. I really itched to draw though so I tried doodling with the other hand that is very poor at jobs requiring…
Not sure if this is a good place for this, I will take it down if not. Today I tried 100 concept pictures in 20 minutes, thats 12 seconds a drawing. I wanted to try to push myself. I would love to hear any other fun art practices you guys have :D
hey moof. thanks man. feeling's mutual. far as taking the drawings to a more finished state. need to fix my head around a way to marry that intention with still keeping them ultra dirty. probably easier to model one out with the super decimated approach. all chunky and hard edged. . .
It's great seeing more people doing the #21days thingy! I don't really like master studies, but I have to admit they help a lot figuring things out and approaching drawing in new manners. Here's my #3 from the 21 days: Some process just because I like gifs:
Moof, Poffington: Thanks guys :) Hawken: I feel your pain, hands are difficult to paint/draw ^^ Here's an update, worked on the hands for quite some time, took a couple of passes to get them right. It's difficult to balance the details out and not have the hands scream for attention. Might still work on them though.
Makkon- nice silhouette on top of the roof. reminds me of signs. fightpunch- awesome 20 minutes! Just had about 15-20 minutes myself to doodle today. Tough trying to do a drawing everyday. Great inspiration in here keeps me going. Good or bad as long as its something i suppose.
There's Soooo much awesome in one thread! @ Fightpunch, that robot with six legs by the river is badass.. How'd you learn to draw like that!? :-) It kinda reminds me of how Craig mullins drew back in the days of the game Marathon, before he polished his pieces Did this for a friend who idolized her (Whitney Houston)
Dont get much time to draw at the moment! but I forced some time for it this morning! a weee sketch of some space pirate sorta girl! cool challenge over at cghub. Strkl: thats lovely btw! both traditional and digital versions! obeyurnapster, tacit, fightpunch, moof Thanks for the inspirado guys! :D <3
Artwar 4 motivational Piece - its starting soon on cubebrush. I don't normally do 2D but i sketched this today, idk if this should be in working on also? couple hours. 1st dynamic form drawing took a bit to get right, still don't know if it is. Alternative view on my station linked below.
