...they say idle hands are the devils playthings - to prevent that heres the latest bit of zbrush doodling still very much Work In Progress, so still lots of work to be done - anatomy, detailing proportions etc...ahh, sure, we'll see how it goes!
Marine, bit blobby right now, looks like you might started a bit early on details there. Like the feel of the char though, reminds me of a vampire John Malkovich :) Started work on my take on a W40K Space Marine (I know pretty much nothing about these things). I don't plan on leaving him metallic, I'll add some paint job…
truedeja: awesome clean renders and sculpts murph: great paints :o always fun to look at your paints homes: great concept , wanted to try recreate it in 3d so i started some blocking out in zbrush hope you don't mind :)
update for today, been working mostly on the feathers trying to find the right approach for the lowest, base layer the next layers will be lose single feathers, not sure if i will do them in zbrush as well, roughed in a couple of more details - still a lot of stuff ahead
Thanks Rogue One :) That was in Mental Ray and I've gone back and made a final for the folio. Just gonna start showing all my sculpt work in similar fashions instead of straight up matcap ZBrush renders. Noise may be a bit much............ yeah.
Had a poor morning so I took to work for distraction. Started in sculptris and finished in zbrush. There's plenty more I might like to do, but I'm calling it a one day project and do not plan to touch it again. Never the less, any critique for the future is appreciated.
quick hour speedy :) timelapse is here http://vimeo.com/32116326 and sneak peek of a female character Im working on, still modelling a few bits and then I can work into/move everything around in zbrush. The head above doesnt go on her body lol :D
Hey guys, this is my first post here. I've just started learning zbrush, and have started making a character to further my skills. The colours are off at the moment, since it's easier to work with. A rough sketch of the character is included to show what I'm working towards
PogoP me too, seen her in many films but couldn't remember her name so I refrained from guessing :p done a bit more on this, decided not to use zbrush for the panel decor because lets face it manual work is more fun, right?
I love the amount and speed we see art come to live on this forum, really nice work all around. love those stylish zbrush models. Starting concept art on a small animation project, first character is Fat jack the happy worker.
