One thing that excites me about blender is that with the new customizable UI and bmesh integration, blender will probably allow me to come the closest to reproducing my silo experience than any other app. Something to look forward to at least.
@MACHIN3 Hey mate, Machin3Tools(latest v.3.4) is broken in very latest 2.80 build. Just downloaded both today. Blender is just not the same without it. :) EDIT: it's also broken now if I rollback both Blender and MT.

i working with blender almost three years, and give me a conflict, i hate how the others tools need to the other programs to make simple stuff like Uvs. blender get more strong with the time, more and more.

Many Blender users treat it as something to be 'protected' from the demon that is standardization. B-Mesh got a lot of hate from Blender loyalists too. Imo the community has stunted its growth by constantly being on the offensive against such changes.
Hi all, Is there a way to stop blender from creating an "Armature" root upon exporting an fbx with animations? I am trying to use the same avatar in unity with custom animations and animations from mixamo. This is not possible if blender adds this root.
It seems to have to do with the fact that Blender distinguishes between objects and meshes then, ok. This seems to be a concept unique to Blender though (?), e.g. Modo does not have such a problem. It just imports/ exports the OBJ with exactly the names you have defined.
