haha yeah, all I wanted is the option to do this. Forcing anyone to a certain behaviour doesn't seem right, and enabling us to choose whichever we prefer seems like a very good idea.
I use Quad Menu's because they're the easiest to manage, press a key combo, pop up a floating menu and insert as many things are you need under it. For example: Under Ctrl + R I have all my render and special shader settings nick-nacks, while under Ctrl + X I have a more streamlined version of Max's connect, loop, etc…
@derphouse Ah that's cool! The menu is just my own, using it for personal tools/testing. The scripts are all separate so you can just add them individually and assign them to hotkeys or wherever you want. Personally I prefer it this way so you can set things to your own preference. Couldnt find it. You sure thats what its called? Any way to freeze the ~&#*~&~&*#* cursor? I never use it but am always left clicking by accident and having it shoot off all over the place.
Let me know what you think, I'm still very much looking for feedback. Check the docs, if you haven't already for an overview/description of all tools: https://machin3.io/MESHmachine/docs/
yes should work in 2.79 - the reason why you might think it's slow is that its not updated every frame, it just clocks at 16hz or so. other than that i doesnt do anything demanding at all.
Here is the bevel folder, with all the correct goodies :) Just put the Mesh_Bevel folder in your addons folder and after enabling it, it will show up in the specials menu. (W) http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2057427/Polycount/Mesh_Bevel.zip
