Just messing around in ZBrush. This is pretty much the first time I've messed around with ZB's renderer and colour painting things, the colour map is literally 2 minutes of messing around, I still don't even know where the colour picker tool is. And ZB doesn't seem to undo texture paint changes in the 3D view, only in…
he looks too "pristine". Probably the look you were going for, but if it were me (which it wouldnt be, i cant texture nearly that well) i would dirty it up. And here are some wip's of a high poly archer for game project openfrag. http://www.openfrag.org Probably needs zbrushing, but I am still learning that at the moment.…
Trying to have 5 units made for an rts but spending most time on animations for obvious reasons but im gonna have to give mudbox an zbrush a go soon Do they work well with wacom tablet? Working in XSI so far no units done fully but hopin for 1500 tri units with n-maps an textures to have animated sets ready, sigh.
thx started out with z spheres, got the basic form I wanted and then keped running detailpasses over him. I used this worldnormal material (in your zbrush material folder) because I personally get a nicer view on the details like that without haveing to bum around with lightsetups. and yes you bum, I'll get the…
ThatDon: Thanks! Asmuel: It's fine man, I understand and appreciate your honest criticism. conte: Thanks. I agree the hands/legs still look a bit weird, I might overhaul those parts of the design to deal with it. pior: Thanks. And yeah I've been struggling to get a good screengrab out of Zbrush. Here's one from Mudbox…
Item: Skull, Triceratops Horridus. Length: 8'1" (246.3cm). Polygons: 94,000. Time: 2 hours 30 minutes. Software: 3dsmax, ZBrush. Still needs a little more detailing (especially around the bone crest at the back). Texture is just a planar-mapped photo for testing purposes. That's looking nice and shiny there, KMan. Love the…
Oh, I built a new one from scratch. This one is still largely WIP. Some of the edge loops I'm not too happy with (got some issues in ZBrush), but it's going ok. I'll see what I can do about hair... I tried Jaco's method earlier tonight but wasn't having much luck, I think I just need to practise.
[ QUOTE ] Aiiiee.... getting lost in the texturing. Any crit's for him? [/ QUOTE ] Really cool, and I dig the strap work you've got going there. Intricate, yet plausible and functional. I think the tattoos are just right. Taking a break from my main project to sculpt a barbaric warrior. Using Arshlevon's basemesh, and it's…
Hey, cool work from the top down on this page. Kungfubilly, i really like the wet feel you have going in your eyeball texture, cool design over all too. Skrubbles, really nice skin. I like the zbrush stuff that was happening in the previous page so thought I'd continue in that tradition. Here's a couple zheads i did…
[ QUOTE ] would it be right to assume that is a Zbrush model? [/ QUOTE ] no it's a mudbox model, but yeah it is mostly sculpted not modelled [ QUOTE ] Do you plan on giving it colors/texture or leaving it as a statuesque bust? [/ QUOTE ] i didn't plan anything so i leave him as he is @foreverrendering: nice work, but maybe…
