Amazing stuff as always! I've been working on a little archer character in marmoset 2 (based on a concept by Sephiroth-Art). For original concept, breakdowns and wips: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=134860
Using my past experience as ballroom instructor to try this. No symmetry, and no t-pose. Just 2 spheres and Dynamesh. Haven't really worked on proportions yet, just getting the dynamic posture so far.
OMFG, this thread is full of EPIC WINS :D I've made a new mount for Dota 2 Mirana character with custom particles! Take a look and vote if you wish :) And here are some WIP shots:
Playing around in Marmoset 2 to see where the textures are at. Still a ways to go. It was originally done for a lecture on game environments for first year 3D students. To put the guy into context..(excuse the old / non textures)..
A final render I did for my character, Working on the hovercraft after a long hiatus- The rocks weren't modelled by me but a shader from marmoset toolbag 2 I used while messing around with it :D
It's rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 2, which uses physically-based rendering, I believe. I'm not sure if that's similar or the same as image-based lighting, or not. The material is basic: high gloss, low metalness, white albedo.
Some stuff I've been working on for Killer Instinct Season 2. Maya's clothing and accessories/texture work. You can scope my full Artstation profile here: http://www.artstation.com/artist/davehansan
Can't resist doing another fan art, older Clementine from Telltale's The Walking Dead Still trying to push the likeness more, and making her look older than Clem from season 2.
Meh i barely have time to work on my own stuff at the moment but managed to game res everything and baked the normal maps for the clothing, just a small update but hopefully i will finish it soon. marmoset 2:
