If that's the only area that the spirals exist, in theory you should be able to copy the topology to a zsphere, delete the verts that belong to the spiral, and then quickly add in you own verts the way you want them.
I tried to draw the present , but I'm still bad at drawing materials, especially fabrics, so I think that I'll finish this entry quickly, just for practise, and then start studying textures and materials.
Hrdly anyone did the No. 12 challenge, what's going on! lol Also @ the drill bit, looks like another one of em "I can do that quickly" and "NOPE, not really..." jobs. haha
I use UV layout. It's a great program for unwrapping UV's. It's not hard to understand and you'll be able to get your character unwrapped quickly. feels like I just did a commercial - lol.
Sounds like a good idea. Having some sort of an upvoting system for answers could also prevent users from receiving possible misinformation, as that would probably get downvoted or corrected quickly.
For the first time in a long time, starting to get really happy with this character. I will revamp the bracers completely and then quickly move to retopo and final textures. Let me know any last pointers!
Thank you David! :) Most of the details are made by either handpainting, alot of dam_standard brush, and some by using insert mesh brushes i made quickly, like the seams. Not a lot of it done by alpha.
Thanks for the correction and the advice. You make a very good point regarding financing a legal dispute, I'd have to hire a US and a UK lawyer - which would run into the thousands very quickly.
I'd try making it quickly in some placeholder meshes. You say you have modularity planned so make the pieces you want really roughly to see if it works out well.
3D sound = Amazing. 3D TV's = Cool at first, losses interest very quickly. When people make 2D glasses to counteract the 3D effect and massive headaches I think it failed.
