Hello everybody, here is my attempt to make Laurence Fishburne. I still intend to improving it, for example make a better sculpt for the lips and pores, but i think overall it's pretty good. Interesting to know what you guys think. Cheers !
I just meant that its so much harder to help (for anybody) if you don't know much about vector math. Sorry if it sounded like an insult. It wasn't intended to be that.
Thanks guys! @Fearian, actually I was intending on doing a more rugged, gritty set eventually. I've got some time until the project is finished so watch this space!
I switched from mx518 to g600 last year and i'm very happy with it. It has three buttons on top of it, so it's possible to use maya navigation as it was originally intended to be used.
Thought I was looking at a concept piece aswel. I actually like how "lose" this is. Interesting style and I'd love to see it in conjunction with its intended invironments. Awesome style.
Rocks! I've exaggerated the scale of the rock walls compared to the reference because rocks are awesome, but I do intend to cover them with a good bit of foliage to balance things out.
For this part you could 3D print the model to scale(of the physical model size that you intend to build) and then use a scale ruler and protractor to find edge lengths/triangle angles.
This is because it will redistribute the subtracted weight among the other bones, usually in ways you don't want. It's better to paint positive weights to the intended bone and have it steal the weight it needs.
