Okay thanks alot, I will grab some view ports then! I might try some udk view ports. Oh and the rendering is for gaming! I also have the xoliul shader and it is brilliant, it really is a shame that you cant just render out with the ye old F9 key. Well life isnt simple so i will get on with it!
View on P3d (lower res textures reduced a lot of the suit detail but it holds up mostly well Superman (View in 3D) StephenVyas: Thanks man, I deliberatley reduced a lot of the defenition between muscles, since he's wearing a suit and not bodypaint but I'll see what I can tweak in the lowpoly (don't want to re-bakes at this…
These are not errors. Remember, you're trying to project the illusion of a beautiful, smooth curved surface onto an impossibly sharp 90 degree corner. This illusion(like all tricks) falls apart under close scrutiny. The viewing angle/distance is what hides the trickery. When your material/textures are applied and you're…
its looking a lot better from the front view, I still think the chin could be a bit sharper but maybe thats just personal style. I still think there are some issues with the 3/4 and the profile view, could you maybe post or PM me an image of the profile and I can do another paintover if you like?
Software works great for me! i5 2500k nvidia gtx 660ti win 7 Very legit, already used it on a project. Love the separate convexity and concavity maps as well as easy AO. One thing I'd really like is an option to have the 3d view automatically show a preview of the map you have selected on the flat view.
To hide backfaces select your object > right click > go object properties and turn on backface cull. To ignore them from selection right click, go ignore backfaces. To select polys by view use Graphite Modeling Tools > Selection > By View. Its not quite what you're used to but its the best that max has, at least that I've…
Reminds me of Arnold Vosloo who played The High Priest Imhotep in The Mummy. save for the eyes other than that looks very nice smooth work on the skin and tone. Is there a possible view from the back? His ears I'm not sure what to say can't see them close enough to tell but from the view the ears look a lil deformed.
I never noticed it before, but now that you mention it--yeah, I see it too. The weird thing is, I just tried viewing polycount with IE and then Firefox, and it doesn't have the strange string of characters with those browsers... it's only Opera that it shows the strange characters. The title is "Polycount.net Boards:…
So what happens when you want to view a webpage with flash? how will that make you feel after spending all that money on it and not be able to view simple flash video on a site? Sure, netbooks unfold, but why is that a big deal? I can place it on my lap laying down and angle the screen to my eyes. You can't do that with…
Are they only ever going to be viewed in same area? Is there a chance the arrow might be viewed in some place the tree(s) are not? Like inside an armory, or if it's shot by a player there are a lot of places it can end up. It could be a huge waste to load the entire tree texture just for the arrow. If the arrow is only…
