Personally I like the Light Beam further back like in your original shot. If you want to follow the rule of thirds slide it over but keep it back. It's more mysterious. : )
Aaaah I see what you mean. That makes this island a deadly rock slide hazard. I'll definitely tone down the size of the upper boulders. Thanks for pointing it out!
I'm pretty sure this was posted at least a month ago... it's a goddamn slow robot too... and the legs are just for show really, it actually just slides along, not proper walking motion.
Have a look at the "talk slides" for this paper, "Real-time fur over arbitrary surfaces." They show placement of the shells and fins, and some sample textures. http://research.microsoft.com/~hoppe/#fur
from this (http://blog.selfshadow.com/publications/s2013-shading-course/karis/s2013_pbs_epic_slides.pdf) it looks like it can be any value from 0/1. Slide 19 really helped me understand it better.
Thanks ! I see now what you are talking about. Maya have something similar, but only for edges (see the slide edge tool). Maybe scripting something is possible. I will look into it.
In lieu of some whacky new plugin I don't know about ... grab keys and slide/scale 'em. Depending on how the keys are dispersed, it could be an easy tweak or could take ages.
what kind of ammo does this use? If standard bullets, where does the clip go? I ask because the curve of the handle doesn't look like it would accomodate the clip sliding in and out.
