I use the J selection bracket sometimes to quickly check if the Xform is goofy... like when someone rotates the model then non-uniform-scales it, that bbox is going show up skewed.
quickly: I'd scale him up from the waist down, because, yes, his legs do look short. For wires, print screen from editor and paste that into an image program.
I got my wife a monitor outside of the "WFP" series and quickly sent it back. She didn't care, but I did. The image quality and acceptable viewing angles were the issue.
I'll chip in with my mac option ;) Anyway, great machines. Macbook pro running XP is like shit off a shovel. Also if it breaks, you are likely to get a replacement quickly
i feel your pain pior, it's all the more infuriating since the hotbox appears instantly, so they clearly *can pop things up quickly, the marking menus just dont..
Sorry to hear that. I hope you land jobs quickly. We'll be ramping up in January, also Seattle area. Seems the industry here is doing pretty well. (knock on wood).
Is this actually true? I had a broken powersupply once where it did attempt to boot, but quickly turned off. Mostly just a beep and a lightup, then nothing. Swapping out the powersupply fixed it.
I would have recommended you to greybox this out entirely in Zbrush with dynamesh and different subtools. You will be able to more quickly get the shapes you want and can iterate more intuitively.
Since the other project is pretty long I wanted to do get in something that I could finish fairly quickly. Currently going over the highpoly and trying to keep the level of detail appropriate.
Obviously not, but this is why I said its a bad example and the point was the shape. This was the best example that I could find quickly to show the DIFFERENCES.. I don't know anything about their actual names.
