Characters are not my forte but just looking at this it appears that your mouth and nose are to skinny, your forehead looks flat, cheeks look off but idk what it is that is off about it, ears look weird at the top and lastly do not have the ears be exactly that same change them up after you symmetrize them. -

Interesting, let me get this clear, so essentially you cover the enture diffuse with an ivy texture, and carry your 3 different alpha variations within the RGB and plug them in for 3 materials? Indeed this is a great way to save on memory and also allow for variation instead of a full dif with alpha channel. -

hey sorry to interrupt everyone's arguing. if I had an 'amazing' idea for a game, without sharing it without people who could plagarise it etc, how do you actually recruit other volunteers to collaborate with while not letting the cat out the bag? also where is a good place to find idle programmers? -

First of all, you should put your portfolio online. You can make it for free using Behance.net, or DeviantArt. If you want a more advanced online portfolio, use Format. Anyway, sending your portfolio to potential clients as a .pdf won't work. That's too much hassle saving it, then opening it, etc. -

well if you read through the PDF at least from the sound of things it does not look they fixed what I would cared for, which is for me mainly the GUI (graphite slowness + anti aliasing forcing mix, retarded main menu with bad design usability [no shortcut label, slow, not snappy, bloated big,...] ) -

Loomis is by far the best imo. i think his stuff really applies to 3d because he illustrates all the planes of the body and stuff, as if he were making topolgy. that guy understood 3d. anyway, you can just type in Andrew Loomis pdfs. and Im sure youll be able to find it. -

There is a better ref in the SC cinematic that was modeled and the cuts for the pieces are quite a bit deeper. Good modeling so far but it looks flat in 1st person and I think it could be pushed further. The layering of the metal looks really thin. Looks close to the pdf but there is still a bit missing there. Good job so… -
