IMO the foggy/mostly melted snow atmosphere/lighting looked better. Very nice city coming along, hope to see it finished! Regardless that snow material could use some work; it's very flat. Some sparkles and subsurface scattering and other shader magic could do wonders for it EG https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSuWH910028
I'm a wasd man myself, been like that since.. quake i think. I played duke3d entirely with the keyboard. It was quake that showed me the magic of mouselook. A friend of mine has one of those weird ones.. if i remember correctly it was W = left E = forward R = right Space = backwards LMB = fire RMB = jump
Alright, first concept for the turret. I am going for a native/aboriginal style since the sculptures of Bill Reid (and northwest coast aboriginals) are some of my favourite stylized sculptures of animals. I picked an animal theme since animals, nature, and magic are a theme in Summoner's Rift. I may add some…
Thanks Klawd. The night renders are my favourite too. With the timeline we had I was hesitant to spend time on the night scene as well but my team mate Juriaan (Can find him linked on the artstation) took out half a day and whipped up 70% of it in an afternoon like magic. Am so happy we have it now.
Yeah, $2,400 is price grounding people too much. http://3d.cgmasteracademy.com/programs/environment-arts-program/ Maybe, try some of these. You could probably just learn by watching gnomon tutorials and doing them. Maybe, join Polycount discord and DiNusty discord. Not sure if there is any magic bullet you are going to…
rofl zac, sweet first post. well, I'm supposed to be in class right now but my car battery died as I tried to get going there. I just spent a hell of a last hour trudging through the snow, learning magical and mystical things to help it get back up and running again. Time to get a new battery.
New animation. I fought and fought with this one for a couple of days and just couldn't get it to come out right, and then by some magical thing it just came together all of a sudden. Triple kick Still a bit of fine tuning to do, some more secondary motion, better arcs in a few spots, etc...but I'm just glad to get it into…
I was interested, then heard the choice of voices and the dialogue, which I thought were both godawful. Also the gameplay didn't seem as freeform as initially made out to be (involved a lot of running to a magic button which then propelled you to another one). Do you think this is better than the previous games? And is…
That second pic looks pretty bad. What's wrong with me not having to squint? All those self proclaimed art critics who signed the petition would already have their copy pre-ordered if they could. The game could take place in the magical land of Unicornia and they'd still eat it up. It'll be a great game. Aren't they always?
Hi) Does
anyone know how to convert normal map from Tangent Space to Object Space? (or
vice versa). I know that
«Handplane» can convert. But I couldn't find a description of the conversion
process. Where is this magic button? + It hasn't been updated since 2017. Maybe
there is another way to do this in 3Ds max or Marmoset?…
