I foresee confusion with this and Arma / Arma 2 / Arma 3. In fact, I clicked this thread thinking there was a major release issue cropping up with Arma 3. Methinks you may want to revisit your project name. -

I have, and I still fake lighting. We are just not yet on film level, and we won't be for foreseeable future. The only difference is how much lighting you should fake. Now, it's about faking smaller details ;) -

@teodar23 Thanks for the reply. Yeah once I worked around the texture issue I realized I was doing too much anyways. I already have some ideas on how to do the same or more with fewer materials. I tried to take a more critical look at the composition. I want to be a good modeler/sculptor and texture maker. You're right… -

Sounds like random chicken littling to me; honestly can't see gadgets replacing console home theaters in the foreseeable future. Guy needs to get his head out of his apps. Also, coin-ops didn't go away in the east. -
