Thank you very much guys. Sword touch area.. :) maybe like this box or... not box (direct : 3d models, monster vs.) :/ sword attack : Red (X) green (Y) yellow (Z)
I never realized how fuzzy they actually are, they seemed more... clothy? foam-y? on tv. A velvet shader with fine noise would be easiest. There are fur systems for max and maya, maybe noise in zbrush.
I really dig the style that you're doing. It's very World of Warcraft-y, and stylised. I can't give much critique else than the blue in the last table looks abit out of place.
Here are some minor updates on my BioShock Infinite inspired "Elixir Shop". Any recommendations or critique is welcome. This is a work in progress. I'm looking for ideas to make it feel more "bioshock-y". Cheers!
Despite the fact that this is awesome looking, i particularly don't really love the idea of it being water-y on the bottom but still having a solid feeling... Though i suppose it's too late now :P
looks pretty good! the new reference images are much better too! in your previous post from the sideview he looks kinda squashed on the y-axis. don't know if you fixed that already.
Hit the flip Y checkbox in the normal map settings, also check out this tutorial on baking/normal maps in general it has a lot of good information: https://www.marmoset.co/posts/toolbag-baking-tutorial/
I agree, great optimization! I would push the highlights on edges of the metal to make it pop abit more. Also I'd scale the mask on the Y-axis a tad; it should be wider than taller.
oh lawd. I wish i had some critique for this. This all looks very nice! y favorite is that monkey you did a while ago. i look forward to seeing more stuff!.
motion tab > position/rotation or scale > Assign Controler > ?? Motion Capture > input x,y,z,... > Joystick Input device its quite easy to define with that a turnable camera using a analogue joystick
