3ds Max does auto-save, however, so you shouldn't lose more than a few minutes work. You can change the save interval and number of back-up files under Customize->Preferences->Files. I personally use 15 minutes and 3 files. -

does the 2 hours factor in the download time after purchase? what if you buy a 15 GB game and have slow internet and it takes you that long to download? Or is it 2 hours play time? I didn't read anything so I'm clueless, sorry if this is an obvious question! -

Oh that's interesting. Well except for the 15 minutes render times but hey! I guess that's the norm. I render stuff so rarely, MR always seems like a huge complicated thing to me. Wonder where I could learn the basics quick and dirty! Thanks for the advice! -

Thank you. Question: how frequent is "too often" to update? I am only getting 20 minutes here, 15 minutes there to work on my texture, so for example while I am done for today and would be fine making a preview to post, maybe it is spamming the thread? -

Well shit, without video games I wouldnt even know wtf that symbol meant... If they take out this symbol from games, than in 15 years when we're in some other war, none of the kids are gonna know where to go and get health kits from... -

Looks amazing, but I get simulator sickness from games like HL2, Doom3, Gears of War, etc. I even got sick within the first 15 seconds of Assassin's Creed (because of the hazy vision). This would probably make me throw up my lungs. -

Very nice! only thing i can see is that you didn't make a copy of the diffuse and ps filter it into a normal map and over lay it slightly (15-25%)onto the rock normal map. This way all the diffuse little bumps give little bits of interest to the rock. -
