The modifier stack works in a linear fashion. If you jump back down in the stack, everything on top would be inactive. Either you can collapse the stack and apply a new UVW unwrap modifier, or just add a new one on top of the stack. Really really need feedback on my character
The issue is it looks really fake and weird which is definitely not the goal, I'm trying my best to make it look realistic but currently I'm stuck, it's rendered in marmoset. -

What are you using for your primary reference? My first impression is the lighting lacks "focus" so it is evenly lit all over. Plus the colors are too saturated. Unfortunately most stock "photos" are AI generated these days, but you should be able to find some real photography if you look around a bit. -
