Current status (high poly base for the tires & body done, base color sheme laid out) I decided to stick to the colorsheme of Bastion. The black base metal definitly needs some base color adjustments. Next will be the high poly of the turret (maybe with a rework of the canon) and then the hand painted texture fun starts. :) -

Yeah, definitly this will have to show the whole capability of the UE4. :D I haven't changed the idea of the statues, just haven't drawn them yet. Holy shit. (no pun intended) but seriously. The art world is so stupid. I heard of a guy who painted a canvas a brighter white, and made 1,000 or so bucks off it. What the hell? Even if I was some rich, pompous, asshole with the mansion the size of rhode island, I wouldn't by a statue of a babie's shit. -

Look good, the legs seem a bit stubby compared to the upper body, but that may just be how you used your polygons in the front, crotch area. 4 sided arms and 5 sided legs, am I seeing this right? Is deformation for animation important to you on this project or are you sticking with statues for the low poly? -

It should be pretty much just like having it start on level start, you just switch out the "level startup" node with a "trigger touch status" node or something. I used a trigger volume rather than a trigger but it works the same way. This will activate the camera and it will stay in that view until the end of the matinee…
