Looks good, but to me, it still looks like the character could barely hold his robotic arm despite all its extra help he's getting from his tools. And I agree on the skin too.
Here's a companion robot I worked on for an assignment. Everything was completed very quickly, so it will be worked on again at some point.[ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PF6W5YVpgEQ"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PF6W5YVpgEQ[/ame]
The Challenge says Humanoid. But for some this means 1 head 2 arms 2 legs. For others it means human like in appearance also. So if i want to make lets say a Leprechaun sized Robot is that humanoid? or not
Regarding filling in the gaps, I feel like a couple things were misinterpreted. The half moon discs at the base read more as deltoids of the shoulders than part of the torso of the robot. Head is looking might fine though.
I'd agree that the guy in the hallway is the most awkward animation in your reel. I can't put my finger on it, but he moves robotic and puppeteer...ish. It's certainly subtle, that's for sure. Other than that it looks pretty solid.
sal: Your guitar is bad-ass. Mustache too - makes you look like a cowboy. And as we all know, cowboys are the best. Pirates are next on that list. Then robots. Then wizards. Then ninjas. Then those pansy-ass samurai.
it gets worse gentlemen Ive been playing plants versus zombies today, apparently they have mechs as well! this is really causing a issue in our plan for survival now that they have access to our giant robot technology
Jack Monahan being my real name: "Jack Monahan is a State Licensed school of hypnosis The International Journal OF Robotics. Research, Vol No. pp NASW." you're damn right i'm a state licensed school of hypnosis
Looks cool. I especially like the boots and robot arm. I think a lot of the other elements seem like they could use a bit more detail. I like where they are headed, but they just need more of it.
Hey now, danr, they probably think cause they saw that one parody of A-Team on Robot Chicken they know all that they need to about the show. Besides, they've got wikipedia and youtube, what else do they need to know?
