i enjoyed this far more than the similar (albeit better styled) Ragdoll Kung-Fu game on Steam. that game's mouse-only interface just feels wonky and disconnected... this game could use more variation in the presentation and dynamics, but i think the basic gameplay is a lot of noodley fun. thanks for the heads up.
been quite a few updates since I last posted and I have kind of neglected this thread. Here are a few more videos from our blog showing our customization interface: http://www.vimeo.com/448510 and showing another track and a little bit of driving (still very basic): http://www.vimeo.com/634940
Finished highpoly sculpt of my character. Orthographic views. This is a mecha interfacing suit and harness I designed. Final will be all realtime 3D, we are on polycount after all, the game artists' forum. Already started on retoplogy for her. Check my Artstation for WIP on the retopo and other higher res more detailed…
they'll prob anounce 2013 soon but release more like april/may :S 2012 has been the most stable for me of the recent releases. 2010 and 2011 being worse. also post up your pc specs. i know they've changed the interface since 2010 so maybe thats causing a slowdown for you
I prefer to never have to use zbrush :) But thats not happening because thats what Im stuck with at work. I tried 3dcoat, tools are very robust like zbrush but again not a fan of the interface. I work in the film vfx industry so i prefer to use mudbox more. I don't really want to start a flame war.
Waaaa?! Looks incredible! All those tools AND interface customisation?! I've got two questions; Does it bake/RTT? WIll it cost less than 'The Big 2'? I'm still on a student license from AD and will need to buy my first licensed software soon, if this is within my price range then my wallet is at the ready... pending a…
Well, that has me excited. Also, a full rewrite of the engine does not mean that your going to have to re-learn everything. The Interface may very well stay the same. I don't want to get semantic, but that made sense to me if only because they went from unreal engine 2.5 -> 3 There is technically no unreal engine 3.0+
The first link "Bamboo Pen and Touch" has a multi-touch mode where, when enabled, you can use your fingers on the tablet, as opposed to just being able to use the pen. I'm not really sure of the advantages of having multi-touch on your tablet unless you absolutely love touch interfaces and can't get enough.
I think that the icon is added if you use "Right Click - Add to quick acces toolbar", so you have to find the button in the interface (it's possible this might only work with ribbon items). But anyway, last time I played with this, the icons you put in never got saved after max got restarted...don't know if it's the same…
Oh you're right, it is shift+i, my bad, but like you said it doesnt toggle. I just tried it out. Actually it surprises me that the isolation hotkey doesn't toggle natively. I googled a bit and found this: http://www.creativecrash.com/maya/downloads/scripts-plugins/interface-display/c/isolate-select-toggle Maybe this does…
