Armor has seen in the show: Ref Sheet: Things to note: 1.She has that symble (on the far right) on her left arm and that it is blue 2.The "Come on Boy" is upside down Who is erza? Erza Scarlet is from the book/show Fairy tail, she is one of the main protagonists. Erza is a young woman who has long, scarlet hair and brown…
Oh wow I was not expecting so many answers!! DWalker Yah I know what you mean about the breast fold and the crease on her upper arm. I really like the look that they went for in the video with those kind of stylisation but I understand that some might not like it. Will consider keeping or changing it. I doo agree she looks…
New PC anyone? One of our UH Alumni treated himself after a few months work at Eurocom. Intel i7 980 3.3ghz HEX core, 24gb 1600 ram, Nvidia 560GTX, liquid cooling, blue LED's, milk and two sugars, bullet chip WANT!! :)
Nice find! Speaking of, anyone know of an easy tool to edit .8bf plugins? I've got a few scattered ones and hate having a long filters list. I've hex-edited a number of them to group them up better, but it would be much easier to have a little app for it.
Erm, the problem is less your material and more your geo. I cant believe you didn't use a high poly model for this? Just because its a simple hex shape doesnt mean it wont need a nice high poly. Sort that out and it will look 10x better.
Hey Dean, the concept looks like a period piece, so I would recommend you look up what was considered the 'ideal' female physique at the time. You may find you need a far smaller waist on her and perhaps bigger hips. If you can nail down the period the style is based on I am sure you will find some great refs. Its tricky…
Hey I like the texture work in general, I'd just make some artistic choices here and there. The face sticking out is one thing; Since it's not a real human, Jarred's choice for a more pale, dead skintone actually works better. Also, having the body part be very different color tones from the mechanical part separates her…
Hey, nice job! A couple of purely technical moments, though. A character is most commonly seen from threequarters view. So it should look the prettiest from this angle. I'd say she is better without a hat (and closer to the concept). Plus her lips are somewhat stretched forward as if she's pronouncing a German vowel. It is…
Cam Sykes Hey, thanks a lot, glad you like it. Cheers! DmitryGrebenkov Thanks a lot man! Good luck also but I don't think you will need. :) Goldo_O Hahaha, that it's funny because this morning some printing guys over Facebook wanted to print it free for me, sale it and share the profit with me. 5% for me and 95% they! Best…
Nice work. A couple things are bothering me, but only a little. Her eyes seem to be diverging, looking in opposite directions. It might help to make her a bit more cross-eyed, which would be more natural. There's a good amount of detail in the roughness texturing, except her skin and hair are very bland roughness in…
