right, whenever I DONT use simetry it works fine, whenever I do it gets weird, it resizes bout 500% less and changes the pivot. -

Put them all in a group and rotate that instead. You'll also need to move the group's pivot from the default scene center to the center of your wheel. -
MaxScript Help needed.
I need help with mascript. I want to to be able to get the height of an object and one that places the pivot point at the bottom center of my model and place it at 0,0,0. Help would be very much appreciated. -

Pro tips: never ever eveeeeeer use xform on a bone NEVER unless you want an identity joint. Doing so will reset the bone pivot to a world orientation -
Re: xNormal baking problems
Hmm, maybe your HP and LP are not occupying the same space in xNormal? Make sure your pivots are in the same spot and reset xforms as well, that could cause issues. -

The mismatch is because the pivots don't match between your mesh and your spline. Do a Reset Xform on both, and collapse their stacks, then re-setup the deform. Should solve it. -

I thought the align tool only does stuff on the object level? Though the blurb about edit pivot mode might be useful I'll give that a shot.
