well, Neox ,seemed a bit like you were having a bit a of a 'pop' at me my clients are not all game guys. some are advertising, some are toy companies. i have worked ion jobs where the have basically told me to spend 5 weeks working out good techniques . One size does not fit all I totally understand the standard approval… -

What's funny, is that while it looks like they spent a lot of time on it, I didn't notice it one iota in game. I thought the assets looked just like a standard quake 3 game with the ambient turned up, and then some normal maps popped on very lightly. I can notice it in their paper when they show the model with the texture… -

Daz: yeah i started as a character guy but i did level design and map textures too, specialised more in characters for a while, but as I found more and more companies wanted an env guy I went with that. I've always tried to do what 'they' needed rather than push to please myself. It's all fun and these days I'm aware of… -

If it says that it's shadowed your videos bios (iow copied the rom data from the gpu to system ram) and then locks up it could either be a ram, gpu, or bios issue. try pulling the ram chip/s and see if you get any results. If you have more then one try pulling them individualy and/or swapping them bettween dimm sockets. If… -

Why buy consumer products as gifts always? Why should we show our love through mass production of items that are not one of a kind and that are not ecologically sustainable?
